An Album for My Sister

Merry Christmas, Beth! This is my gift for her. When Clara, my younger daughter, gave it to her on Christmas Eve, she couldn't believe it. She was surprised to see her photos when she was only 11 and 14. I'm so glad she liked it. The album was a one-of-a-kind gift she will keep for the rest of her life.

Beth, Feliz Natal! Este foi o meu presente para ela. Quando a Clara, minha filha mais nova, deu a ela o presente na véspera do Natal, ela mal conseguia acreditar. Como ela ficou surpresa de ver suas fotos tiradas aos 11 e 14 anos. Fico feliz por ela ter gostado. Esse foi meu presente personalizado que ela terá para a resto da vida.

Black and White Album - Álbum em Preto e Branco

This is an album inspired by two opposing colors - black and white. It is made of crackled cardboard and designer paper. Here I used several embellishments for the pages, tags, and cards: ribbons, buttoms, embossed paper, die-cuts, laces, brads, among others.

Este álbum foi inspirado nas cores preto e branco. Para a capa usei o efeito craquelado e para as páginas internas papel para scrap. As páginas e os cartões utilizam como elementos decorativos fitas, botões, relevos, recortes, rendas, bailarinas, entre outros.

This is an album inspired by the roses of Provence. The cardstock pages were gesso painted and distressed in red. The die cuts were painted pink and crackled white.
